It is with great joy that I welcome you to our Institute website.

As Principal I am immensely impressed by the commitment of the Management and the staff to the provision of an excellent all-round education for our students in our state of the art facilities. Under my leadership, and as a team working together, we strongly promote not only academic but hands-on technical, practical know-how to our students. The cultural, sporting, events, educational tours, hotel visits, guest lectures and other successes of all of our students and staff are also proudly promoted and celebrated.

As you are aware Guardian Angel Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology was founded in the year 1997. This has been a pioneering venture by the Society of Pilar (PILAR FATHERS) who have done yeomen services in these remote areas since 1951. The Institute has been established in the remote surroundings to offer the youth especially from rural areas an opportunity to acquire practical skills, much in demand to the growing Hospitality Industry thereby empowering them and in the process empowering Goa and India. Though distant from the ‘City’ the institute has carved out a name for itself and is among the best Institutes of Hospitality Management in Goa today.

The Training imparted in this Institute not only gives a personal/individual attention but helps the students to grow confident in practical skills to serve the nation and the world; thus to augment the manpower requirements in Hotels, Cruiseliners, Airlines, Industries and Institutions.

The management also wishes to break the good news to you, of the construction of a new campus extension which is expected to be completed by April 2021, is just another feather added in keeping up to our standards and commitment towards the cause.
